Please find below additional information regarding Smartsheet changes that will help in next semester’s hiring. The changes will be implemented beginning on 11/1/19; to be completed by 11/5/19. Please know that you can continue entering appointments during this time - access will still be operational.

10/1 salary rate increases and data archives - Changes will occur beginning on 11/1. The Smartsheet formulas will be adjusted by BRS to reflect the new rates which impacts all appointments including the previous semester’s requests. To maintain an inventory of the previous semester’s data, BRS will archive a copy

The following columns have been moved and/or created:

UCPath ID - Moved to the beginning of the sheet

Location - Capturing this information is now critically important based on a Labor Relations directive. Should an appointee work in multiple locations, use where they spend the majority of their time.

Course Name/Number - This new column has been added for the convenience of campus (versus entering this information in the Comments column)

Plus, users will see new alternating row colors to help differentiate information on the sheet.
