Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System support is ending on Jan. 14, 2020. After this date machines running Windows 7 will not receive security updates and will be easy targets for hackers, malware, and viruses.
We need your help to get these machines upgraded or have a mitigation plan in place. Please forward this message out to any units you work with.

Nov. 1, 2019 - Deadline to submit a security exception to meet mitigations by EOL

Feb. 1, 2020 - Information Security and Policy (ISP) office will send notifications to Windows 7 systems still connected to the campus network

Mar. 1, 2020 - ISP will begin blocking all Windows 7 devices seen on the campus network
